HOUSTON RAPPER SALLY SOSSA RELEASES VISUAL FOR LATEST SINGLE "GMFU"

“GMFU (Got Me F**ked Up)” is a gentle but lethal reminder of what the Houston prodigy is all about. Her lyrical warning not only goes to the ladies but to the fellas from all pockets of her life (“I won’t let a n*gga lil bro me, I won’t let a b***h try to hold me”, she spits). As the beat builds through deep piano keys and brassy 808s, Sossa remains unscathed while handling her business on the mic.

The wunderkind has proved to be the next voice out of the Houston rap scene. The recent high school graduate has excelled in the books and the industry as she became the first female talent under Interscope’s joint venture with LISTEN TO THE KIDS. Impressing the industry with her 2019 mixtape series Life of Sossa, the emerging artist dropped her debut single “Who You Are” in July quickly followed by her track, “A Letter To The Streets”. Both singles have garnered over 350,000 streams on Spotify respectively.

Inspired by the likes of Lil Durk and Nicki Minaj, Sossa’s voice in hip-hop is one of heart and strength with each single setting her apart from her peers. “I want my fans to know that I’m real, I’m authentic, I’m me, and I’m making music to help them,” she says. “I’m growing with my fan base and they’re growing with me.”
