Lyrical threat, Ill Conscious has returned with a track of imperial composition this morning. "Black Czars" boasts solid grit (courtesy of Mute Won's production) for Conscious multi-syllabic gymnastics and wordplay. Additional syntax power is provided by guest verses from NY's own Rome Streetz and West Coast legend Planet Asia.

"Black Czars" is a leak from long-awaited LP collaboration between Ill Conscious and Mute Won entitled Acres Of Diamonds. The project will be available digitally through Bandcamp as of this coming Friday 1/28 and then via all DSP's on 2/11. Limited physical editions will be announced shortly as well.

Speaking on the project Conscious revealed "we had versions of the album ready close to two years ago, however life during the pandemic brought challenges that made completion tough. We kept recording tracks and over time, ended up with an even more comprehensive and fully realized project".
In addition to Rome Streetz, Planet Asia and DJ TMB Acres Of Diamonds also boasts appearances by Snook Da Crook, Jamil Honesty, King Magnetic, DJ Grazzhoppa, Mekael, Mandriq, Dink, Myea and Omnia Azar.
