Fresh off his former label Warner Music, Lil Zay enters a new chapter as an indie artist, navigating his recent release from the feds and his recent interview with No Jumper. The RIAA certified gold artist has set himself apart coining the melodic drill style rap that continues to keep him relevant in rap. His previous major EP release, The Streets Calling My Name, Pt. 2. featured a more prolific perspective of Zay with breakout singles including Hood Cry, Lost Somebody and Bad Boy. From controversy to smoking mirrors, in Zay’s latest release "Dog Sh*t Records", he addresses the naysayers, the streets and the fakes. Dog Sh*t Records speaks to everyone wanting money but being broke in real life and "instagram rich" and the attention it attracts from bad bitches to the haters. "Everybody wanna have dog shit" says Zay. Directed and shot by legendary videographer DGainz, he and Zay recently collabed on videos "Ones I Love", "Fresh Out The Fedz", and "My Lil Sh*t".
