Leven Kali - “Sumwrong” | @LevenKali

L.A.-based singer/songwriter/producer Leven Kali has released his first new song of the year, “Sumwrong,” in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Produced by Leven, Digi (Khalid) and Rogét (Travis Scott, Miguel,) “Sumwrong” premiered today on Jamz Supernova’s radio show on BBC Radio 1Xtra. “Sumwrong” is out now on Palm Studios/ Interscope Records. Leven Kali is set to release his debut project this March.

“Sumwrong” comes on the heels of Leven’s three-song project, ‘I Get High When I Think About Love,’ released in December. The project includes the single “Too High,” which features fellow West Coast artists Buddy and Na’Kel Smith. All three of the tracks on the project were written and co-produced by Leven himself. Last year also saw Leven release the double-single pack, ‘NunWrong With a Lil’ Good Lovin’,’ and his acclaimed single “Do U Wrong” ft. Syd, which Pitchfork stated in their review that Leven “is out to write the next episode of California hip-hop: buttery neo-soul vocals, growling electric guitar, and G-funk thump.” 2018 also saw Leven perform alongside Ms. Lauryn Hill, to a sold out room at the Soulection Experience in LA, and at festivals across the country.
