Amber Mark’s formative years were spent travelling the world, imbibing music, art and culture. Her kaleidoscopic mix of influences, from jazz, soul, downtempo electronica and Indian classical, meld together in harmony on her acclaimed ‘3.33am’ EP. Now on ‘Heatwave,’ Amber channels Latin percussion and big-room vocals on this up-tempo, carnival-inspired single. “Heatwave just fits the feel of summer for me,” said Amber. “It was getting hot in NYC and I was finally enjoying a break from the long winter.”
‘Heatwave’ is Amber Mark’s most recent solo effort, following a collaboration with DJDS and Marco McKinnis earlier in the summer that was flagged as one of Pitchfork’s Best New Tracks. Her EP standout single ‘Lose My Cool’ caught global attention and shot to #6 in Spotify’s Viral Chart, cementing her place among the hottest artists to watch across the world.
