While limited to home confinement due to house arrest, SKYXXX was left with an inevitable itch to make good music. Using his momentary physical confines as ammo, SKYXXX successfully forges a refreshing and eclectic soundscape. The candid nature of his girl woes, time with bros, and moments of introspection are perfectly paired with experimental sounds of eerie synth lines and incalculable flows. Searing up vibes of happy-go-lucky, bellicosity, and edginess, SKYXXX skillfully crafts a fanciful playground of mellow swishes, hotbox go-to’s, and picturesque lyrical tales.
SKYXXX, founder of Swamp Posse, has been creating waves this year with the release of three projects including his latest, “And Then The Moon Fell” where he criticizes the cliche ideas floating around hip hop culture.
