HALSEY TO PERFORM VMA'S SUNDAY WITH THE CHAINSMOKERS!

HALSEY JUST ANNOUNCED AS PERFORMER ON THE MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS TO SING "CLOSER" WITH THE CHAINSMOKERS THIS MARKS ONE YEAR TO THE DAY FROM THE DATE SHE RELEASED HER DEBUT ALBUM, BADLANDS

 Halsey will perform at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards alongside The Chainsmokers to perform their Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Closer." The song, co-written by and featuring Halsey, made it to the top of this week's Billboard Hot 100 less than a month after its debut, and was also the most-streamed song in the country last week.

 The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from New York's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Halsey and The Chainsmokers will join performance appearances from Britney Spears and G-Eazy, Ariana Grande with Nicki Minaj, Nick Jonas featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Future and Rihanna.
