Growing up on the Northside of Atlanta, K Camp introduced himself to the city’s scene at local open mic competitions. He emerged from the area’s rap arena in 2008 with the party jam “All Night,” which became a hit with the college crowd. K Camp used mixtapes and live shows to build a strong fan base and later landed a deal with Family Ties/Interscope Records. His debut EP In Due Time produced two hit singles, “Money Baby” and “Cut Her Off.” The fearlessly honest rapper known for his laidback flow climbed the ranks as one of hip-hop’s emerging stars.
