L.A.'s own socially conscious rap artist Melo KAN took action in the community over the weekend by organizing a clothing donation drive on Skid Row. The rising star, who dishes about "empowerment for all" in his lyrics, set up shop in front of the Los Angeles Mission building on San Julian and 5th Streets in Downtown L.A. to provide much needed clothing for the city's less fortunate.
Accompanied by his Blokk Movement truck and excited volunteers, Melo KAN lead the way in unloading and handing out donated men's, women's and children's clothing in all sizes -- just in time for summer.
