Iman Nunez x Sweata - "Bed-Stuy Baby"

Following the emotional vulnerability of his January hit "Want Ur Luv", Yonkers emcee Iman Nunez continues his streak of romantic anthems with the dual release of his latest single and official music video, "Bed-Stuy Baby". Featuring the smooth vocals of SWEATA and sleek production by Haysuse, the track is a soulful testament to the lengths one will go to keep a connection alive literally and figuratively.

On the new release, SWEATA sets a late night mood, serenading a "Bed-Stuy baby" and an "A-Train queen" over a mid-tempo groove. The song tackles the relatable New York struggle of long-distance dating within the five boroughs, emphasizing that whether it’s a late-night Uber or an express train ride, no distance is too great for the right person.

Directed by Dre Hartwell, the official music video brings this urban romance to life through a moody, atmospheric lens. The visual opens with SWEATA delivering his melodies before the camera pans to a woman, the muse of the record. Throughout the piece, Iman is captured rapping amidst shifting hues of deep orange and cool blue. The lighting serves as a visual metaphor for the flickering NYC streetlights passed during a late-night commute to see a partner.

"Hear the city in your tone, I know where you reside / I put your name on the list, you ain’t waiting in line", Iman raps, blending his signature lyrical grit with a newfound melodic softness.

"Bed-Stuy Baby" marks Iman’s second release of 2026 and serves as a standout piece from his evolving R&B-influenced era. It follows a massive 2025, which saw Iman showcase his skills on BET’s 106 & Park and release the well-received collaboration "You and Me" with Abby Jasmine.
