VisionPlay - "VZN SZN Disc" Vol. 1

The star studded music label VisionPlay gathered its artists alongside other musical greats for a power packed album in "VZN SZN", released via MNRK Music Group. VisionPlay’s artists Maliibu Miitch, Rain 910, Lea Robinson, Poizonnn, Twayne Towns, and PC give fans a dynamic blend of Tri-State and Carolina sounds that depicts the Twilight Zone of superstardom.

Jersey’s own PC and Harlem’s Twayne Thomas lower the veil of the superstar life and reveal the gritty side of the come-up. PC’s lines on "Blood Money" reflect his days in the streets with "Mobile homes, Motorola phones, Indiana Jones never seen this kind of rolling stone. Bagging up Macaulay Culkin, I was Home Alone, watching Godfather, wishing I was Corleone…" On “Execution” with PC and J.Y., Twayne Thomas rhymes about how he stays ahead of the competition and that no one will knock him off his path.

Poizonnn and Lea Robinson provide a more personal side to the superstar life. Their song "Said Enough", feat A Chic, is an upbeat R&B song about being passionate for that one man. They balance the line of sending a warm, loving message with subtle lustful lines that don’t overpower its passionate intention.

In "Lies That Came True" Rain reflects on his successes while feeling survivor’s guilt of escaping the trap. Rain raps, "This isn’t future talk, this is what happening, right now, as I’m rapping, the current state of your favorite hustler…praying for abundance, but I’m running with the takers. There’s nothing we can wait for, everything is urgent. Everyone panics when they see my resurgence… they say death is certain, but how can we reverse this? Demons in my nightmares. Show me where the church is. Chicken bones for the rituals, I will curse this. Flip phones, per usual, who needs service? Front door delivery anytime I’m working…"
