All-time great and Godfather of UK Drill LD releases "Million" with the help of Link Up TV Originals "The Process" winners LikkleDotz OTB and BlueBoredom.
"The Process" presented by Capital Xtra’s Rob Bruce, is a two part music reality series by Link Up TV Originals and executively produced by Rashid Kasirye featuring 6 talented contestants going head-to-head for the unique opportunity to work with LD. Made up of 3 producers and 3 directors.
The first episode "Making The Hit" saw 3 passionate producers, Producer Paks, No Limit and Likkle Dotz in a "battle of the beats" playing their instrumentals to LD and pioneering Drill figure Fumez The Engineer. After deliberating and re-listening to the instrumentals and a fierce competition, LD and Fumez finally settled on LikkleDotz OTB’s beat and got straight to work in creating "Million" with a dark and ominous tone that creeps through as LD hits the beat igniting his distinctive flow.
This was followed by the 2nd episode "Making The Video" featuring 3 gifted directors, FPVisions, BlueBoredom and Kxvn Media who first deliver a detailed pitch, breaking down their visual concepts to LD and Gabriella Kingsley (ArrDee, Ed Sheeran + MORE,). Each contestant was given honest and extensive feedback and Manchester native BlueBoredom was awarded the £3000 budget.
The epic set of visuals sees LD bring us into his reality of taking risks and what that entails; as he details what is brought to life by both his imagery infused lyrics, and the creative music video that really helps to set the tone.
