On the song, airy guitar snakes through jagged 808s as he delivers vulnerable verses before a confession on the chorus, "Grandma G died, and I just signed my first deal. That shit just made my soul bleed".

In the visual directed by frequent collaborator Rich Porter, he walks alone through a cemetery before rapping outside around his neighborhood. These moments of calm smash cut to a home invasion and shootout, reflecting the constant unpredictable presence of violence around him.

It’s as real as it get just like Lul Bob is.

Gaining critical acclaim, Major Stage recently observed he is "making a name for himself with raw, emotional, and hard-hitting tracks that translate his experiences into powerful stories".

"Soul Bleed" only sets the stage for much more music coming very soon!

Relying on innate instinct, Lul Bob turns the rawest feelings into the realest melodies. The 20-year-old Boston-born and South Carolina-based rapper wields a strong natural flow that never dulls the edges of what he’s going through. Instead, it only sharpens them on tape. He takes the toughest trials and tribulations and bends them into emotionally charged bangers. At six-years-old, he moved from Massachusetts to Cheraw, SC just outside of Myrtle Beach. Living with his mom and seven siblings, he gravitated to music inspired by the likes of Lil Wayne and YoungBoy NBA. At the time, he penned ideas in a little notebook and freestyled for fun. However, trouble unfortunately found him. Shuffling in and out of Juvenile Detention Center at 16-years-old, he quietly and carefully developed his lyrical abilities behind bars. Upon returning home from a stint in Juvenile Detention Center, he caught fire with the viral freestyle that would inspire his breakthrough “Real Definition of Fake.” Tapping on the door of a car against a gray sky, he rattled verses off the top of his head with confidence and clarity, paving the way for the official version in 2020. It racked up 787K Spotify streams and landed him a deal with Good Money Global/Cinematic Music Group/Geffen Records. He only maintained his momentum with tracks such as "Demons", "Flip The Switch" and "Pain", leading up to his debut project.
