BLOCBOY JB DROPS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED MAJOR LABEL DEBUT, FATBOY
Blocboy JB keeps the energy high and his haters at bay with release of Fatboy, his highly anticipated debut album. In true Bloc fashion, the album is full of jams to start a quarantine turn up (“Let’s Go,” “Carlton”) and stand out features from NLE Choppa, G-Herbo, Yo Gotti and Trippie Redd. Fatboy includes elements of Bloc’s comical personality with the visuals for the single “Fatboy” intersecting with the classic Fat Albert character.

The rest of the project is no laughing matter as “Do It For Me” highlights Bloc’s rapid rise in the rap game while “Iso (outro)” showcases his lyricism. Visuals for Bloc’s previous releases like “Swervin,” “Chop Bloc Pt. 3” (feat. NLE Choppa)” and “No Chorus Pt. 12” (feat. Tay Keith) have collectively amassed over 5 million views on YouTube. Production on Fatboy includes longtime collaborator Tay Keith as well as rising maestros in the game like HitKidd, Ace Charisma, FreshDuzIt and Walter White.
In addition to Bloc’s monumental release, the Memphis native has teamed up with Fatburger and will be taking over their food truck on Oct. 13. You can catch him making stops throughout LA.
BlocBoy JB has made a name for himself in the game thanks to hit singles like “Shoot,” and the “Look Alive” featuring Drake. In addition to working with the likes of 2020 XXL Freshman NLE Choppa and Lil Uzi Vert, Bloc himself was featured on the infamous XXL Freshman List in 2018. In the same year, he picked up a BET Hip Hop Award for “Best Mixtape” for his critically acclaimed project, Simi.
