Born in Brooklyn, NY, Skye became a muse to the art of music at a young age. He grew up with a musical family, Skye’s godfather is Jazz legend Art Blakey.
Therefore, his influences range from Jazz, R&B, to Hip Hop Soul. His beginnings saw him performing with the New Voices of Freedom Choir. Since then, he’s shared stages with U2, Lenny Kravitz and James Brown. Skye also made an appearance on MTV's Video Music Awards, performing as a background singer. He's penned for Grammy nominated artists like Lynette Washington. He released his debut single, Palm Trees, in 2019 and now he’s back with his follow up. The follow-up is an uptempo track called, Names, that was produced by TheSkyBeats who has done production for Bad Bunny and Joyner Lucas. The guys flip, Janet Jackson’s “I Get So Lonely”..
