"This project Prodigal Sun was a natural progression from Nice Guys Finish Last, but I felt like there was a void in the “soul” department of music right now and 183rd knew exactly what I was looking for. It’s more than just money death and jail in the streets and I wanted to paint that picture.

What some people don’t know is me and 183rd have worked on some of my earliest projects, even being in one my first videos “The Campaign.” I knew the sound I wanted for this project and it was as simple as a phone call and with that we knocked the project out in about a week and a half. 

Leading up to the release I recently been working on a short documentary to go along with Prodigal Sun, along with some visuals to accompany the album. This project with 183rd is my first project of 2020, but I’m going to keep it going, with another stream of tag team EPs with some dope producers, I got “Rent Money” “Free Soup” and a sequel to Nice Guys Finish Last." -  100GrandRoyce
