At nearly 20 years old, Jay Gwuapo is already a veteran of the New York’s hip-hop scene and one you should get to know. Cited as an influence by his good friends Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay, he’s credited for turning Pop Smoke onto rapping and joined forces with Lil Tjay for a tour this past Fall. His most recent releases in honor of his friend’s passing “Long Live The Woo” followed by “Dangerous,” showcase his lyrical vulnerability and melodic style.
