His father, producer Kayoh Beats, has already been garnering a name for himself in the music realm. He's landed placements with artists such as RichTheKid, Kevin Gates, Chinx, Young Dolph and more. That said, Zae has basically grown up with a strong musical background. So it was only a matter of time before he would take the leap into creating music himself.
That time has now come. ZaeZae hit the studio, selected a track from Kayoh Beats catalog and created a freestyle based song titled "Back To The Lobby". After it's creation, the pair starting tapping tastemakers and A&Rs for input on the recording. It was a hit among the circle and would lead to Zae meeting YBN Cordae. Cordae was also impressed with the song, so much in fact that he wound up posting an IG story to his account rapping the lyrics to the ten year old's record.
The journey continued leading upward, leading them to famed video director, Jakob Owens of TheBuffNerds. Jakob offered up the notion of having ZaeZae film a video to be added to his famous #OneTake films. These segments have featured such artists as Futuristic, Kyle, Dizzy Wright, Pryde, Mark Battles and Steven Cannon. "Back To The Lobby" is now available for viewing on TheBuffNerds YouTube channel, hosting an impressive 761K subscribers. The "Fortnight" inspired #OneTake video is now available to view.
