JIMMY DASAINT VISITS PHILLY'S MOST VIOLENT PRISON
Former drug dealer turned bestselling book author Jimmy Dasaint, was invited to speak to a large group of inmates at the CFCF, located on State Road in northeast Philadelphia. Prison authorities reached out to the Philly native after learning about his hard upbringing and street life background. A few months back the prison staff started the new prison book club to help inmates spend their time useful. Over a hundred inmates signed up to the book program. The first book that was purchased was Jimmy's bestselling novel (Money, desires & Regrets). Jimmy Dasaint, was a former drug dealer from West Philly, that was indicted by a federal grand jury and sentenced to serve ten years in federal prison. While incarcerated he penned over thirty novels and became one of the few inmates to ever receive a major publishing deal. Now Jimmy Dasaint is giving back and reaching out to the community that he helped ruin in his days of dealing illegal drugs. He is currently putting together a local speaking tour to reach out and help save the Philly youth.
