The London born Nigerian artist keeps her African heritage central to her music and ‘In The Night’ holds a strong afrobeat influence at its core. Having first launched onto the scene back in 2013 with her debut single 'Love Melody' produced by J Roc (also responsible for productions for the likes of Beyonce, Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake), she followed up with her track ‘Seduction' featuring UK based afrobeats artist GB. She continued to rise within the emerging afrobeats scene with further quality output including her mesmerising single 'La La La' featuring Nigerian rapper POE and produced by Juls, one of the most prolific producers in afropop having been the man behind hits from Mr Eazi, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Maleek Berry, Yemi Alade, Moelogo, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kojo Funds, Eugy and more. Tomi then gained further success when she featured on Juls’s track ‘After Six’ (watch here) from his album ‘Leap of Faith’.
