ABOUT BRITANNIA ROW RECORDINGS:
An artist-centric record label in the truest sense, Britannia Row Recordings encourages, enlivens, and empowers musical outliers of all kinds.

GRAMMY®Award-winning producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Malay conceived the initial vision for the label in 2016 alongside his manager Randy Cohen. Joined by GRAMMY®Award-winning mix engineer Manny Marroquin during 2018, they formally launched the company in partnership with BMG, unveiling acclaimed New Jersey rock quartet The Parlor Mob as the flagship signing. Guiding acts from demo to distribution, Malay, Marroquin, and Cohen remain hands-on every step of the way. Speaking to a mindset of innovation, the name references Pink Floyd’s own Britannia Row Studios—the site for the creation of countless classics.

With multiple GRAMMY®Awards and hundreds of millions of albums and single sales between them, the trio of founders continue to shape the music industry landscape. Malay’s production and songwriting credits span Frank Ocean, ZAYN, Sam Smith, Alicia Keys, John Legend, and Alessia Cara, to name a few. Behind the board on bona fide modern classics like channel ORANGE, he has invariably architected pop revolution on his own terms. Meanwhile, Marroquin remains one of music’s preeminent mix engineers. The eight-time GRAMMY®Award winner has indelibly impacted the sound of seminal releases by Post Malone, 2Pac, Kanye West, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Sia, Imagine Dragons, John Mayer, and many more. Veteran manager Cohen has guided not only Malay and Marroquin to success, as well as artists including Katharine McPhee. In the past, he has managed Donna Summer, The Game, and Keyshia Cole, while simultaneously being VP for Edmonds Music Publishing, Tracey & Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds’ company.

Emphasizing creative freedom and unfiltered vision, they embody an old school approach for a new age. Welcome to the era of Britannia Row Recordings.
