Ella Mai Makes Her Television Debut On Jimmy Kimmel Live!

10 Summers/Interscope Records singer-songwriter Ella Mai, made her television debut this Friday on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The half Jamaican-half Irish songstress surprised fans last week by announcing she’ll be heading out on her own Boo’d Up tour next month and the tour has already sold out!

“Boo’d Up” is shaping up to be the surprise smash song of the summer. The single has been sitting pretty at #1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart for the past four weeks. In addition to taking up space at #6 on the Hot 100 chart, the accompanying music video is currently the top music video on YouTube in the US, totaling over 79 million views. Noting Ella Mai’s success, Forbes magazine recently predicted, “She has a bright future ahead of her.”

It has been a whirlwind journey for Ella Mai, who signed with Mustard’s 10 Summers label and relocated to Los Angeles just two years ago. With a trilogy of critically acclaimed EPs (TIME, CHANGE and READY) under her belt, Ella Mai is now focused on putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming album. She is also confirmed to perform on the BET Experience Main Stage on June 22nd, at the 2018 BET Awards on June 24th and the ESSENCE Festival on July 7th.
