JAIRA BURNS DEBUTS VIDEO FOR “OKOKOK!”
Upscale Music Group/Interscope Records newcomer Jaira Burns is taking matters into her own hands in the visual for her single “OKOKOK.” Fed up with her beau and “buzzing” from her newfound high, Burns promises that she’ll be just fine as she shifts from their bland white bedroom to a myriad of colorful displays. The Burns-envisioned, Lucy Sandler-directed video complements the blue-haired crooner’s style perfectly; showcasing her playful personality and flair. Burns emotes sass as her soulful voice laces the up-tempo track. The single is the first release off of her EP Burn Slow. Watch the video below.
The Pennsylvania native first gained popularity in 2017 when Olivier Roustein selected her single "Ugly" for the Beats/Balmain ad campaign, featuring Kylie Jenner. Burns continued to serve her audience throughout the year, releasing a visual for her track “High Rollin” before joining Australian born musician Wafia on her North American tour.
2018 should prove just as eventful as Burns is already scheduled to perform at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.
