This week on Dj Friday HipHopOnDeck.com presents Washington D.C.'s own DJ Imperial

DJ Imperial is an up and coming female DJ in the DC area where she was born and raised. She participated in various musical activities growing up. She got her first feel for turntables in her late teens and she started learning to DJ from a friend. She knew from that very moment that she wanted to pursue music. Over the last 3 years DJ Imperial has been developing her style and sound while working on various shows and projects.

She is currently the resident DJ on the "Live at 5 Hip Hop Wednesday Show hosted by Eddie Kayne on WPFW 89.3 FM, the host of her own weekly mix show #MixQueenTakeover on Pure Truth Radio, and Co-Host of Aquemini Jamz Radio Show on WLVS Radio at Listen Vision Studios in DC. She has her eyes set on being a traveling DJ and sharing her passion for music with the world.
