FROM THEIR UPCOMING DEBUT ALBUM LANY
AVAILABLE JUNE 30, 2017
LANY
debut soul-searching new track “13” today. The song finds the Los
Angeles-based trio reflecting on a relationship that has moved off
course, with vocalist and songwriter Paul Klein wondering “where did we go wrong,” “who got inside your mind” over echoing, Chris Isaak-esque guitar flourishes. PRESS HERE to listen.FROM THEIR UPCOMING DEBUT ALBUM LANY
AVAILABLE JUNE 30, 2017
The track “13” is taken from LANY’s highly anticipated 16-track self-titled debut album, set for release via Interscope on June 30, 2017. LANY, which includes their global streaming hit ‘ILYSB’ (I love you so bad), will be available on CD, vinyl and digital formats as well as a box set. Fans who pre-order the album will receive “13,” The Breakup,” “It Was Love,” “Good Girls” and “ILYSB” as instant grat downloads. PRESS HERE to purchase. The album sees them tap into the trials and tribulations of relationships, feelings of displacement and the endless search for love and a place to call home, very real issues for a band that has been almost constantly on the road for the past two years.
Tying into their recent U.S. headline tour and upcoming album, the band made their television debut on May 11, 2017 performing their single “ILYSB” on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “ILYSB” recently reached over 58 Million streams on Spotify alone and the acoustic as well as remix versions have racked up another 25 Million combined Spotify streams. PRESS HERE to watch their debut television performance.
The band also recently announced their 32-date North American headline tour for this fall with tickets on sale now via THISISLANY.COM/TOUR.
LANY - Paul Klein, Les Priest and Jake Goss - have amassed a huge live fanbase and last year alone played a total of 117 shows across twelve countries, selling over 35,000 tickets. With over 3.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify and combined streams of over 100 million, LANY was the most streamed artist in 2016 through the Spotify Discover feature, with “ILYSB” also holding the title of the most streamed song. The trio recently collaborated with Snapchat to create their very own Snapchat lens for previous instant grat “Good Girls,” with everyone from Tove Lo and Demi Lovato to Jared Leto, Chloe Grace Moretz and Anna Kendrick trying it out.
