Stockholm -raised and New York-based producer, songwriter, dancer and fashion muse KISSEY is excited to announce her debut Fool's Gold release, Unplug The Delusional Monkey EP, out June 30th. Vocally referencing feminine heroes ranging from PJ Harvey to Grace Jones, the nine track release highlights KISSEY's lyrical dexterity, unique production (crafted with hip-hop legends Sean C and LV and mixed by A Tribe Called Quest engineer Blair Wells) and playfully antagonistic delivery, making it wholly unlike any other Fool's Gold release before it. KISSEY is kicking off the campaign with the release of the minimalist dance video for first single, "Unplug", premiering earlier today via The FADER. In the video, KISSEY, draped in a print suit that camouflages her in the wilderness, dances and loses herself, literally, in the music and rural winter landscape. The stark visual is directed by New York designer and subversive creative Nick Ace and Brazilian photographer Mari Juliano.
