About Yung Ham
Stephon McDonald, known as Yung Ham, was born August 19, in Baltimore, Maryland. Being solely raised by his mother, brothers and aunts. Not having his father in his life was considered a major struggle for Yung Ham, however he gained strength from him not being around and developed his love for music at the age of 9 under the influence of his brothers and close family members. At 19 his life changed forever. After bringing his son into the world and determined to give him a better life than his Dad’s, Yung Ham quit school and continued to indulge in fast money. He ended up getting arrested and was facing major charges. Given that time to think, it was then Yung Ham decided to fully pursue his rap career. Returning home, Yung Ham immediately got in the studio and soon after released his first music video to his then single “Clip Split”. With the video getting over 200,000 views in one week, Yung Ham grew major buzz quickly. Yung Ham currently, has been featured in the Washington DC area, Atlanta, Miami and more. In November of 2014 he released his hit single “Jackpot”. This hit single has been rattling the East coast radio's, streets, and clubs. With features on sites such as Atlanta’s Be100Radio.com, Media Prince and Listen Vision TV - The Eddie Kane show. His ultimate goal is to be a successful business man, with multiple businesses. He isn’t stopping until it’s succeeded.
