About Hop Cashay
These are three life lessons that could only be learned by a certain demographic. Those who subscribed to a certain indoctrination. Prioritizing the ability to turn strife into song, Hop Cashay has turned adversity into art and poverty into poetry. Born in Harlem and raised in the Bronx, Hop was forced to suffer for his dreams. He endured many obstacles that fell in his path; expelled from school and facing homelessness, he never buckled under the pressure as he chose to instead endeavor in seizing his musical destiny. Avoiding the stereotypical option of a life of crime, Hop Cashay was steadfast in his pursuit of a career in the music industry. At the tender age of 15, Hop understood that in order for him to become the greatest Hip-Hop artist of all time he would have to follow in the lyrical footsteps of pioneers the likes of Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur.
Now age 26, Hop Cashay has delivered a series of solo albums, displaying prolific lyricism coupled with a unmistakable appeal based on his personality and devotion to his community, which he serves well. His vibe is unbelievable, and his connection to all generations is admirable. Performing at many of the known venues throughout the tri-state, his fan base has grown exponentially and with that the promise that has always accompanied his brand.
