The long delayed debut album has arrived.
Three years ago Kansas City rhymesayer DEV3N joined forces with up-and-coming producer Arkutec to create an album titled "TKNWTD" - but due to set backs caused by financing it as well as conflicting schedules - the project never came to fruition.
Fast forward to present day - Dev teamed up with local engineer MABkc and started work on the project again out of Industry Soundz Studio. With a mix of former and fresh production from Tec - TKNWTD was renamed EQUALITY - and today it is official revealed.
EQUALITY is a 12 track collection of truly uncensored and honest work that takes an authentic look into todays fragmented society. DEV3N's sharp lyricism is paired with the detailed production of Tec to create a rich, full organic sound all brought together by soulful samples, spacy synthesizers and deep textures.
The two have been long term collaborators over the years but have released little music together since first joining forces. EQUALITY is their long overdue musical debut which features a slew of other Kansas City talents including Domineko and The Abnorm, as well as new coming talents like Darius and Slayd.
With high hopes of breaking into the industry and catching ears of the greats, Dotzilla will be releasing the first insight to the way they see the world we all are still scrambling to figure out.
