Darrin Jones a.k.a. D-Boss comes from the (Trinity Garden/North Side) streets of Houston Tx and is the founder/C.E.O. of OCE (Organized Crime Ent.) and also the first artist to be launched off the label. Music came into play with D-Boss in 2005 when he was arrested and charged with Organized Crime which lead to his incarceration of a two year sentence. While sitting in a federal prison he took to writing and composing songs to make his time go by. Once he composed song after song he realized he just might have a talent he never knew about which was rapping or as D-Boss would say ( I'm just giving you my day to day life style). Upon release late 2007, he had one objective on his mind which was find a new game plan and he did. D-Boss took to the studio for the first time ever in 2008 and by 2009 he took his charge Organized Crime and turned it into a label (OCE). Within the few years of his presence in the underground music scene D-Boss has put up a very good catalog. With the backing up of the Legendary DJ Michael 5000 Watts (Swisha House) he has been able to brand his self heavy in the streets with his Trap Rap style. With projects such as the ( 2 real 4 radio ) music series he has with Michael Watts and project with Paul Wall titled (M.I.B. making independent bread ) He has build up a great catalog and has worked with different artist such as Rocko, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Young Dolph, Legendary Bun B and also top producers such as Mr. Lee, and up and coming production squad Gl Productions and more. In just five years in the game from having to learn how to rap as well as run a label, D-Boss has made a great name for his self in the music scene.
