Fortune (born Jake Lipton) is a rapper, producer, and co-owner of Moe Bandz Entertainment located in Marin County, California. Fortune found music as a way to deal with a difficult upbringing and uses music as a medium to tell his story. His music is a reflection of his life and the streets upon which he was raised. Fortune mixes his West Coast upbringing with his southern experience to create a style that gives a breath of fresh air to rap music. Tapping into the styles of Tupac, DMX, Mac Dre, and TI; “ Fortune’s style has brought new light to the industry” said Majestic Productions.  

 

Citing his struggles as a child and his unrelenting ambition as his main motivating points, Fortune looks to make his mark on hip hop history.
