Arts Organization Guitars Over Guns Raises $100K+ With Help From Hip-Hop Icons Chance the Rapper, MURS, Grammy-Winner J. Ivy & Rep. Kam Buckner

The evening had an unforgettable line up including a special performance from 3x Grammy-Award winning poet J.Ivy, academy-award winning artist Rhymefest and journalist and MTV-host Dometi Pongo. The evening's biggest highlights was the opportunity to have an exclusive luncheon with Emmy, Grammy & Oscar winning artist Common. The night concluded with a student and mentor showcasing their musical talents, followed by an incredible impromptu performance from Chance The Rapper, live auction and raffles for attendees to win great prizes. Guitar Over Guns was an evening filled with community effort, creativity and empowerment meeting their fundraising goal, raising over $100,000 in contributions for the program.
