GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-platinum artist Offset is back with a new single, "Bodies", featuring Atlanta rap standout J.I.D. Released via Motown Records, the track blends dark, cinematic energy with a bold lyrical presence, built around a reimagined sample of Drowning Pool’s 2001 nu-metal hit "Bodies".
Produced by Vinylz and FNZ, the song delivers eerie piano melodies and choral elements layered over hard-hitting drums. Offset takes center stage with sharp bars, while J.I.D. matches the intensity with a dynamic verse of his own.
In Offset’s words, "Bodies" is about standing on who you are, coming out the mud, and being confident in the face of adversity". He also teases more to come, declaring, "I’m just getting started".
The surreal music video, creative directed by Offset, is as ambitious as the song. Shot in Los Angeles, the visuals feel like a living piece of art, complete with desert runways, red carpets, a candlelit choir, and scenes of Offset being crowned before cult-like followers. Styled by SheShe Pendleton and edited by Mikey Rare, it’s a bold visual statement that cements Offset.
