The collaboration with Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly adds to the track’s electrifying vibe, underpinned by Miles Clinton James' immersive production.
The title "Lotus" symbolizes renewal and growth, mirroring both Simz’s artistic evolution and the album's exploration of life's intricate phases. The official music video for "Flood", directed by filmmaker Salomon Lighhelm, introduces a powerful visual narrative that aligns with the themes of the album.
Recognized as one of the most visionary and boundary-breaking artists of her generation, Little Simz has collected numerous accolades, including Brit Awards, MOBOs, and an Ivor Novello. Her 2021 Mercury Prize-winning album "Sometimes I Might Be Introvert" earned her global success, while her 2022 surprise release "NO THANK YOU" showcased her honesty and energy.
