"JADA vs. KISS" will be released exclusively on YouTube and Bandcamp on January 24, 2025.
In a bold collision of musical worlds, Queens producer Eitan Noyze just unveiled "Jada vs. KISS," a 13-track mixtape that reimagines KISS's legendary rock anthems with the razor-sharp verses of Hip Hop icon Jadakiss.
Crafted on the iconic Akai MPC 3000, the mixtape seamlessly intertwines the explosive energy of KISS's rock legacy with Jadakiss's gritty street narratives. The result is a fresh yet nostalgic soundscape that pushes the boundaries of both genres, creating a listening experience that feels timeless and innovative.
Inspired Beginnings and a Delayed Vision
The concept for Jada vs. KISS took root in 2006 when Noyze encountered "Blue Eyes Meets Bed-Stuy," a mashup mixtape by Jon Moskowitz. This genre-blending masterpiece laid the groundwork for Noyze's vision, inspiring him to explore the possibilities of uniting rock and Hip Hop. However, technical constraints and the difficulty of sourcing acapella tracks at the time forced him to shelve the idea.
