Following the release of "Strictly 4 My Fans 2.0", platinum selling Chicago hip-hop luminary G Herbo returns with a new video for "My Soul". Strictly 4 My Fans 2.0, is a reissue of 2023’s "Strictly 4 My Fans 2" with five new tracks.
"My Soul" gives fans an intimate bird’s eye view into a day in the life of G Herbo as he prepares for his sold-out show ahead of Thanksgiving at The Forge in Joliet, IL. The visual opens as Herb dresses for the show and the late-night studio antics to follow. "My Soul" is one of the five new songs on G Herbo’s recently released reissue project, Strictly 4 My Fans 2.0. "My Soul" comes alongside the ferocious "Teflon", true-to-form “Essence,” “Breathing Heavy,” and melody-driven "Lionhearted" featuring fellow Chicagoan Polo G.

"Strictly 4 My Fans 2.0" is the third release from the Chicago heavy-weight since promising his fans consistency with his music. September’s comeback release, Big Swerv incited a groundswell of excitement upon arrival and peaked at #1 on Apple’s Hip-Hop/Rap albums and #2 overall albums charts. On the eve of its arrival, Rolling Stone visited Herbo in Chicago for an exclusive and extensive profile. In reference to the new project, the outlet praised how "it’s also him doing something he hasn’t previously been able to do: let loose with his music".
In the wake of Big Swerv, G Herbo shared the music video for "Global Spinning" featuring Baby Drill, as well as "Splat", and "Candyman". The project was quickly followed by the release of "Big Swerv 2.0" in October, alongside the video for the fan-adored "Dark Night". With the release of the 2.0 edition, G Herbo reinvigorated his acclaimed project by adding seven fresh tracks. The new additions to the collection showcase Herb’s artistic growth with features from Chris Brown, Meek Mill, and Lil Durk.
Rewind to 2022. G Herbo made a major statement by dropping the double-album opus "Survivor’s Remorse: A Side & B Side". In addition to achieving critical acclaim, it notably included guest appearances by Jeremih, Future, Offset, Gunna, Benny The Butcher, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Young Thug, Meek Mill, Conway, and Kodak Black.
However, he’s got more music and surprises in store. This is G Herbo’s time.
