1. Congratulations on the release of your new single, "Moneh"! Can you tell us more about the inspiration behind the track and how it came about during a freestyle session with your friends?
A.) Thank you very much! I had found the triple threat beat wanting to write to it but I had absolutely no idea at first what to write about, so me and my friends were brainstorming until BOOM! One of my friends came up with the legendary bar ‘She wanna come to the block, cah you know she’s gonna have fun here’ making me think this one here has got to be the one! So we then agreed to write something using those lyrics to then realise that the Leicester accent is really dominant in the song.
2. Your track gained significant traction on TikTok, especially with Mazza Abz's viral freestyle, accumulating over 1.6 million views. How did it feel to see your music resonate with such a wide audience on social media?
A.) Seeing Mazza Abz’s channel and the views it did was just amazing to see that so much people like the song.
3. With over 3.7 million views across several viral videos on TikTok, it's evident that your music is capturing attention. How do you think social media platforms like TikTok are shaping the landscape for emerging artists like yourself?
A.) I feel like nowadays it is very easy to make a name of yourself through TikTok due to everyone being on there, it’s good to use the opportunity whilst it’s there.
4. You mentioned that "Moneh" is a song for everyone to vibe and dance to, regardless of age. What elements did you focus on to ensure the track had broad appeal?
A.) The elements I focused on were the verses of the song just trying to make it as catchy as possible.
5. As you gear up for performances in Leicester and London in July, what can fans expect from your live shows? Are there any surprises or special moments you have planned?
A.) Fans can expect pure energy as I’m an energetic guy full of joy so it’s only right I bring that along with me to every single performance!
6. Your music has been described as having its own distinct sound. How would you characterize your style, and what influences have helped shape your musical identity?
A.) I would say Headie one inspired this song a lot and my style is very much modern day music.
7. "Moneh" marks an exciting chapter in your career. Looking ahead, what are your aspirations and goals for the future, both musically and professionally?
A.) My goal for the future is to become an established artist, no matter how long it takes, I am willing to attempt.
8. With your career gaining momentum, how do you stay grounded and focused amidst the growing attention and expectations?
A.) How I stay grounded is by just not focusing too much on my social media not letting it get to my head, reality is what we all need in life!
9. Can you walk us through your creative process when developing new music? Do you have any rituals or routines that help you get into the right mindset?
A.) To make new music, I play beats and just see what catches my ear for me to write to.
10. Finally, what message or feeling do you hope listeners take away from "Moneh" and your music in general?
A.) The message I want everyone to take from Moneh is to go and make more! The grind never stops!
