JENN CARTER

1. How did you all come together to form the group 41?
A: 41 was started by Kyle Richh. We were all friends through relationships with each other and with time we all became a family.

2. How do you feel your individual styles complement each other in the group?
A: I feel like my lyrics in songs compliment our tracks, and what pushes me, is how much the rest of the members like my verses.

3. What does Drill music mean to you?
A: Drill music to me is just explaining where you came from and sh!t you have been through.

4. What inspired the name "41" for your group?
A: “41 ways to get paid”

5. What do you think sets 41 apart from other groups in the Drill genre?
A: 41 is a movement/family not a gang and we don’t have to diss to make hits

6. What goals do you have for the future of 41?
A: I want us to make it far out of the drill scene and make a bigger name for ourselves.

7. What message do you want to send with your music?
A: I want to make music that a lot of people can relate to and at the same time understand what I’m personally going through as an artist.

8. What challenges have you faced as a group?
A: Sometimes it’s difficult for all of us to decide on one beat in the studio, but once we find that beat the chemistry in the booth, it is amazing.

9. What impact do you hope to have on the Drill scene?
A: I mainly hope to change the whole perception of drill, so it doesn’t have such a negative connotation, but at the same time, still want to keep that New York Brooklyn mentality in how I rap.
KYLE RICHH

1. How did you all come together to form the group 41?
A: It was built on relationships. I created the group and brought my brothers together to build a family. I met Tata through Dee Billz & Jenn been my brother since sandbox.

2. How do you feel your individual styles complement each other in the group?
A: All of our styles complement each other. Tata got the energy, Jenn got the lyrics, & I got the voice & flow.

3. What does Drill music mean to you?
A: The music is just a product of our environment. Where we are from, we see a lot of wicked sh!t that we translate in our music.

4. What inspired the name "41" for your group?
A: It all stemmed from the term "41 ways to get paid", which we then globally branded.

5. What do you think sets 41 apart from other groups in the Drill genre?
A: We don’t have to diss to be hot. Most rappers rely on dissin’ because it brings controversy, but that shit is wack to me. We really make real music that people could relate to.

6. What goals do you have for the future of 41?
A: We are trying to take 41 global and make it a vast movement that influences positivity amongst the world.

7. What message do you want to send with your music?
A: I’m really just rappin’ what I’m livin’. I get in the booth and express all my feelings to the mic because sometimes it’s all I got. I just want people to feel what I’m sayin’ in my music. There are a lot of people like me in this world that could relate to my music, so I use it as a voice for the misunderstood. I do this for my fans, I just want the world to appreciate my music.

8. What challenges have you faced as a group?
A: The media plays a big part in the industry. There’s a lot of haters in the world that try to paint a negative perception on us, but we continue to stay true to ourselves and prove the haters wrong. We try to push a positive image out because we know we have influence on a lot of people varying from all ages, kids to grandparents.

9. What impact do you hope to have on the Drill scene?
A: I just want the world to appreciate my music. Nobody ever did it like us so, we are going to continue to push our legacy forward.

A: I hope to inspire the younger generation to follow their dreams and to not let small-minded people discourage anyone from thinking bigger. We’re in our own lane and I want people to know that just because we do Drill music, doesn’t mean we are bad people. We really want to change the narrative.
