SUMMER WALKER REVEALS "STILL OVER IT" TRACKLIST
The blazing track list for Summer Walker’s sophomore effort, Still Over It, is sure to set adoring fans over the edge. The 20-song album includes appearances by some of music’s hottest artists, including: Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, SZA and JT (City Girls), who joins Summer on the debut single, “Ex for a Reason.” To date, the single has amassed over 8.2 MM US streams while reaching #6 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart; her 14th top 10 appearance. The album also features narration by R&B icon and fellow Atlanta-native, Ciara, and rap powerhouse, Cardi B. Impressive features aside, Apple Music exclusively premiered the tracklist via their push notification service. Still Over It will be available this Friday, November 5.
Summer is well-known for her ability to carry a catalog. Last month, during an early listening session, lucky contest winners praised her ability to hold her own across the captivating body of work. This week, Summer will host the final advance listening session at the Atlanta University Center, open exclusively to the women of Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University.
Summer’s 2019 debut album, Over It, took the airwaves by storm, spending 106 weeks on the Billboard 200 and 14 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B Albums chart. To date, the tracks have collectively generated 3.6 billion US streams. Summer’s success and following continued to blossom laying the groundwork for her July 2020 EP, Life on Earth, which debuted inside the top 10 on the Billboard 200 at No. 8. Summer has covered both Rolling Stone and Billboard magazine and has thrived on the award circuit, winning at: Soul Train, iHeart Music and the Billboard Music Awards. Summer signed singer-songwriter NO1-NOAH to her imprint, Ghetto Earth Records, which is a joint venture with Interscope Records.
