EST GEE SHARES VIDEO FOR “GET MONEY (REMIX) FT. YO GOTTI” AFTER CMG SIGNING

Rising rapper EST Gee shares his latest video, “Get Money (Remix) ft. Yo Gotti” today. Directed by Diesel Films, the pair are surrounded by good company in Gee’s hometown of Louisville, KY. On the forceful track the duo smack-talk while spitting verses on their street-savviness and their livelihoods. Together, their energies are at an all-time high and the Louisville community visibly matches their enthusiasm during this glorious moment. The original track released last summer caught the attention of Pitchfork who praised the up-and-coming rapper, “Gee presses into its kick to create a kind of friction. As EST Gee establishes the sound of his Louisville on “Get Money,” he feels like a small-town star.”

Last week, CMG Records announced the Louisville rapper as the latest addition to their roster (42 Dugg, Moneybagg Yo, Blac Youngsta, etc.). The announcement came on the heels of the release of Gee’s recently-released project, I Still Don’t Feel Nun, that includes collaborations with CMG CEO, Yo Gotti as well as MoneyBagg Yo, Jack Harlow, Kevin Gates and 42 Dugg, among many others. On the 16-track body of work, Gee showcased his natural rapping ability and quickly asserted himself as a viciously versatile force. The release led to him garnering acclaim from the likes of ABC News Radio, HotNewHipHop, HipHop DX and Okayplayer, among others, as well as support across all digital streaming partners and co-signs from the likes of Lil Baby, Mulatto, Meek Mill, and more. Gee also teamed up with GRAMMY nominated Louisville native rapper, Jack Harlow, on his track “Route 66.” No strangers to one another, “Route 66” is the third time the pair teamed up, only this time it led to Gee’s debut late night performance alongside Jack, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! A few months into the release of I Still Don’t Feel Nun, we’re quickly witnessing that in many ways, the acronym EST hints at his future in Louisville and beyond.
