ATLANTA MULTI-GENRE ARTIST, 5AM RELEASES DEBUT
ALBUM YOU’RE GOING TO BE FINE TODAY
Today marks the release of singer/rapper/producer, 5AM’s album You’re Going To Be Fine via 1865/Interscope Records. On the eleven-track project the Atlanta-native creates a euphoric escape for his fans integrating R&B, alt-pop, and hip-hop, linking real stories culled from a remarkable journey to create a classic body of work. On the first released single “Automatic,” an ethereal yet pop forward track, 5’s voice flutters between driving verses and a hypnotic hook. Track by track 5 tells a story through his production and fine-tuned melodies. Whether it be the guitar-laden call out of “Answer Me” or high fashion ode “So Long,” the project paints a vast swath of topics and emotions. Of the album title 5AM shares “My music usually comes out of whatever is going on in my life at the time,” he explains. “Every day, I keep telling myself, ‘S**t will get hard, but if you hang in there, you’re going to be fine. That’s the mentality I take into the studio. You’re going to be alright. Do what you do. Whether I’m dealing with relationships, my personal life, or other struggles, it will work out.” Overall, his album lends itself to fans and listeners with one overall lesson, you’re going to be fine.

The bubbling artist has amassed high praise from Fader, Lyrical Lemonade, and Respect Magazine, who called him the “next hottest thing out of the ATL.” Last
summer 5AM teamed up with Grammy award nominated producer TM88 (Lil Uzi
Vert, Travis Scott) for their surprise 9-track collaboration, 5:88. The project, which Fader described as “a slick but bouncy and melodic ode to the short-lived thrills and romantic possibilities of summer nights” garnered recognition from HotNewHipHop, The Source, Hypebeast and more. This summer 5AM will continue to share new music with his fans which includes, NBA superstar Kevin Durant who discovered the rising singer on a blog and showed love for his music via Instagram.
