ROD WAVE CELEBRATES WITH HIS FAMILY

IN HOPEFUL “ALL WEEK” VIDEO

Pray 4 Love Remains On Billboard 200 After 31 Weeks

After putting in all the work leading up to the quiet storm of wins that is 2020, Rod Wave (Alamo/Geffen Records) decided to pop a few bottles with his family in Volcano Bay in Florida for his new, wholesome video "All Week." The Yawn Rico-directed visuals shows Wave balancing work and play, splitting time performing shows on the road and hitting a water park with his family. It reflects the constant struggle he faces when trying to make time for his career vs. his loved ones, as both impact each other. Even on the song, his voice shows a very measured excitement and apprehension for the future. One thing is for certain: the success is only motivating Rod Wave to push harder.

"All Week" follows his latest release "Shooting Star" which has almost reached 10 million views in a month. After selling 72,000 equivalent album units for his opening week for Pray 4 Love in April, Rod Wave toppled his previous feat with an astounding 75,000 with his project's deluxe effort. Rising to No. 4 on the Billboard 200, the reloaded offering clocked in at 25 tracks with eleven new records, including features from Yo Gotti and Lil Baby and previously released singles "Freestyle" and "Through the Wire." It's also helped push his songs " Rags2Riches," "Girl Of My Dreams," "Freestyle," and "Letter From Houston" back into the Hot 100. Of those songs, "Rags2Riches" has deeply held onto the ears and hearts of his fans by staying on the Billboard Hot 100 for 19 straight weeks and is currently #42 on the charts. Wave's Pray 4 Love remains a potent power player on the Billboard 200, as the album has landed in the top 10 for nine weeks this year.

Wave's illustrious journey to rap's hierarchy in 2020 remains one of music's most celebrated stories. Less than six months after dropping the Gold-certified Ghetto Gospel, the Florida rapper earned his second consecutive trip on the Billboard 200 top ten with Pray 4 Love, debuting at No. 2. That same week, Wave was also crowned No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rap Album chart, solidifying his stake as hip-hop's premier rookie. In August, Wave cemented his status as an elite newcomer with his inclusion into the XXL Freshman Class for 2020.
