Dreamville's Lute Teaches a "Corona Crafting" Lesson on Gold Mouf Chronicles

DREAMVILLE’S LUTE TEACHES A “CORONA CRAFTING” LESSON
ON GOLD MOUF CHRONICLES

If virtual hangouts and happy hours are getting a little tired at this point, it might be time to find a new creative outlet for your inner Martha Stewart. Your new art instructor Lute (Dreamville/Interscope Records) has the perfect curriculum for that mid-afternoon lull: “Corona Crafting.” The fifth episode of Gold Mouf Chronicles presents an easy, fun way of repurposing all of those empty wine and liquor bottles in your house, especially if you followed along with his last episode “Quaransnacks,” into flower vases. For the assignment, you’ll need a few supplies but arguably most importantly, make sure to have a side drink and flowers to put into your finished product. While Lute goes with a yellow and stone finish on his bottle in the Alexander Hall-directed and edited episode, he encourages viewers to send photos of their vases to goldmoufchronicles@gmail.com as well as sharing them on socials and tagging @slumcounty. Watch the DIY master at work below:

The series features Lute’s latest single “GED (Gettin Every Dolla)” as its opening theme. The single, which debuted in early 2020 following a cryptic social media campaign, has become a fan favorite. The Neal Farmer-directed video, has now amassed over 1.6 MM views on YouTube. Following its release, Lute stunned fans with a halftime performance during the Hornets vs. Rockets showdown at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2019, the Charlotte rapper teamed up with label head J. Cole, and hip hop phenom DaBaby for the track, “Under the Sun,” which was featured on the Grammy-nominated RIAA certified Platinum Dreamville album Revenge of the Dreamers III.
