ILL Conscious x Mute Won ft. DJ TMB - "Mutiny" Video

Nimble-tongued emcee Ill Conscious and beat-banger Mute Won have dropped a new video this morning. Mutiny (Directed by Trill Is Bliss and featuring cameos from brethren Dirt Platoon and Shef Kutz) is that head-banging social reporting that hip-hop has been missing of late. Within the verse the emcee touches upon every sector of his city of Baltimore and even works in mentions to the Coronavirus and the stigma of immunizations for school.

Speaking on the track Ill said the title refers to a mental mutiny, against the bullshit, making decisions for yourself, choosing what you ingest from all the sources that we are bombarded with and choosing what knowledge you give to your seeds.

This is the first leak from the forthcoming full-length project from Ill Conscious and Mute Won, Acres Of Diamonds to drop later this spring. Hailing from Camden, New Jersey Mute Won is the younger brother of emcee/producer Fel Sweetenberg who is considered a member of Dirt Platoon. Speaking on the link-up Ill said Since Dirt and Fel are linked-up, Mute and I decided to do something together as well. Fel and Mute have a friendly competition with beat-making and I have to say I think Mute is winning currently. Everytime I think we completed this project, he sends me more beats and I realize I have to get those on the album as well.

Ill Conscious has been building a global audience over the past few years. This includes his 2019 EP Sorcery with Portuguese producer, MHZ Boom Bap, which saw Ill actually tour South America. He also let off an impressive volley of shots on a recent episode of Show Off Radio With Statik Selektah and won an episode of Sears Sirius Cypher (both on Shade 45 Radio) check it out below.
