Kriptik ft Skatta - "Try" Video {Prod. By K Dubz} @therealKriptik @SkattaCoventry

A Coventry to Nottingham link up as two hotly tipped Midlands grime artists drop "Try"

Midlands grime artists Skatta and Kriptik have unveiled the opening song from Skatta's Fight Night Flows EP due out next month.

The track, which has been supported by major platforms like Trench and Mixtape Madness combines the nostalgia of yesteryear's grime production with modern flows and a catchy hook that showcase their chemistry and song-making ability.

Kriptik instantly sets the tone, with a hard-hitting and inspiring hook, before effortlessly flowing over K Dubz's dubsteppy grime beat with composure and cold bars. Describing the song's themes, Kriptik explains:

"They say that I'll never achieve it so why do I fight? Good thing I never believed it undefeated in my first try."

That line is significant to me because of how I started my boxing career, and the trials I went through and eventually overachieving my goals. Everyday I try to achieve success weather it be grime music or something else.

Skatta's contribution bursts through as he delivers his versatile and dominant flow, ensuring you appreciate his presence on the track.

"Never been a loser I ain’t been defeated, never backed out whenever it got heated // Never been one to slack I got stacks of achievements, Im glad I'm achieving trust me I'm going through the ceiling"

The dark and gritty visuals give the track an even more eerie feel as both Skatta and Kriptik are able to show that they're comfortable in any setting.
