Rap supergroup Griselda make their Shady Records/Interscope Records debut with a powerful new single called “DR. BIRD’S.” The Buffalo, New York-bred group features Westside Gunn, his brother Conway The Machine, and their longtime collaborator Benny The Butcher. In addition, Griselda have announced the upcoming release of their long-awaited debut album, WWCD on November 29th via Shady/Interscope Records. The album will feature production exclusively from Beastbutcher and Daringer.

The premiere of “DR. BIRD’S” follows the recent announcement that Benny The Butcher and Westside Gunn have signed a management deal with Roc Nation. The deal marks a noteworthy partnership between the Jay-Z-founded entertainment company and Griselda Records (a Buffalo-based label launched by Westside Gunn). In 2017, Shady Records signed an exclusive deal with Griselda Records for both Conway The Machine and Westside Gunn, making the duo the first-ever Buffalo rappers to land a record deal with major-label distribution.
Earlier this year, Benny The Butcher made waves with his widely acclaimed The Plugs I Met, with Westside Gunn winning praise for FlyGod Is An Awesome God. Meanwhile, Conway The Machine earned buzz for “Bang” ft. Eminem — a track that prompted HotNewHipHop to note: “Bar for bar, your favorite rapper would likely tremble at the thought of going up against Conway The Machine.”
