Ras Slick Kicks Off 'Zone’ Tour Following Appearance on ABC

It's clear that there is no stopping International Reggae artist Ras Slick, who recently kicked off his "Zone" Tour following an appearance on Channel 7 ABC's "Good Day Washington." He joined "Jamaica Day Reggae Festival" promoter Elaine Daley and fellow artist Kinglock to promote the annual event, which served as the first official date on his "Zone" Tour.

Named after his spicey new visual and single "Zone," the tour's first leg features performances that span the East Coast and Midwest, including Maryland, Virginia, Illinois and Indiana, with more to be announced. Predominately appearing on music festivals, notably, in July alone, Ras Slick will grace stages of Maryland favorites like Linganore Caribbean Wine Festival, Carifesta and DMV Summer Fest, alongside top flight acts like Beres Hammond, Capleton, Bunji Garlin, Ding Dong, Shenseea and more.

Ras Slick, along with his personal Dutty Bus Crew band, is known for electrifying performances that wow and excite colossal audiences. The singer's demand is certainly on the rise, with his powerful live shows rivaling his recorded music and visuals. In fact, while interviewing on ABC, the artist's timely and powerhouse "No Shackles and Chains" visual was featured as b-roll.

Ras Slick's "Zone" visual has been making waves since it's wide June release across mutiple platforms and social media. Filmed on location in Westmoreland, Jamaica by super director Aly Asili, "Zone" is a super chill visual, which zooms in on the sacred places and times Ras Slick enters his "Zone." The catchy hook, "When I am in my Zone, leave me the xxxx alone," is one everyone can relate to.

Adding to the increasing buzz of "Zone," Reggae singer Ras Slick has teamed up with Tanzanian superstar Young Dee for an amazing remix, which is poised for an International July release.
