FOCUS TRACK ELEVATOR TAKES A STAND

Outspoken, empowering hip hop artist, and self-made, “Queen of the South” RENNI RUCCI today released her new mixtape, Big Renni, featured today on XXL and Complex as well as Spotify’s New Music Friday Playlist.

The collection features three previously released singles that have already streamed and been viewed over 1.3 million times and featured in “The Hip-Hop Bible” XXL, in addition to seven brand new tracks. The lyrics range from fearless approaches to relationships to empowering and vivid words describing the essence of being a woman.

Renni adds, “I’ve been anticipating the day I’d drop my first “official” project before I even signed to Wolfpack/Caroline so I’m ecstatic! We have put so much time into forming and developing my sound and I know everyone will be amazed to see how much I’ve grown from the girl dropping covers to BIG RENNI.“

Go tell it: Renni Rucci, is set in 2019 to be the new “Supergirl” on the block.

She’s made some serious inroads with her 2018 release with Renni Rucci and Lil Yachty and her singular take on the DJ Khaled/Jay-Z track Top Off by Renni Rucci gained her even more dedicated fans.

Renni is proud to be included among the new breed of fully empowered, badass female rappers who are bringing humor and good-natured flexing to the often too-serious and overly masculine rap world. Renni is controversial in her lyrics but as a mom of two, and making initial moves as a stripper, she is wanting to get her message to other women as an inspiration.

Alongside acts like City Girls, Cardi B, and Kamaiyah, Renni is showing her peers that being a female rapper isn’t a schtick it’s simply the new normal.  “I’m very thankful for what’s happening for females in hip-hop right now. It’s opening doors for me and we are opening doors for others.”

Keep up with RENNI RUCCI
