‘TRUNK MUZIK 3’ BY YELAWOLF DUE OUT 3/29
ACCLAIMED HIP-HOP ARTIST ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF ‘CREEK WATER’
YELAWOLF NOW ON U.S. TOUR
Acclaimed hip-hop artist Yelawolf has announced a March 29th release date for his highly anticipated new album, Trunk Muzik 3. The album will be Yelawolf’s fifth full-length for Slumerican/Shady Records/Interscope.
Trunk Muzik 3 arrives as the follow-up to Trial by Fire, a self-produced 2017 album featuring appearances from artists as eclectic as Juicy J, Travis Barker, Kid Rock, and Wynonna Judd. The Alabama-born artist’s previous albums also include Love Story — a 2015 release certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
“Trunk Muzik 3 is my third installment to the Trunk Muzik series. The album gets back to these 808’s and classic southern rap cadences. Of all the album styles and songs I’ve released over the years, this was the funnest project to make .. I’m inspired again! And I’m proud to be releasing it with my SHADY family.. time to fuck shit up and GET BUCK !!!” says Yelawolf of Trunk Muzik 3.
In addition, Yelawolf recently announced the launch of Creek Water — a boutique whiskey brand presented by his imprint Slumerican and bottled by Mystic Farm and Distillery in Durham, North Carolina. With the brand named for his independently released 2005 debut album, Yelawolf maintains full control of Creek Water’s packaging, branding, and marketing.
“Our market is a working-class market and represents an artistic, expressive, and loud character…downplaying the importance of the whiskey and instead shining light on the drinker, and the good time that comes along with it,” says Yelawolf of Creek Water.

Hailing from Gadsden, Alabama, Yelawolf made his debut for Shady Records/Interscope with the 2011 album Radioactive. He released two mixtapes in 2013 (Black Fall and Trunk Muzik Returns), then put out Love Story in April 2015. Along with earning Yelawolf his first No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, Love Story delivered hit singles like “Best Friend” (ft. Eminem), “American You,” and “Till It’s Gone.”
