Rising Nigerian-Canadian artist TOBi shares his second single of the new year with “Sweet Poison”, out today on all platforms. Conceptually the song was inspired by Sigmund Freud’s repetition compulsion theory where a person endlessly repeats patterns of behavior that were difficult or distressing in earlier in life. From falling for the same kind of person to being excited by the danger of the unknown, TOBi re-lives a plethora of emotion similar to Freud’s theory.
